I really like your pictures, however they look grainy when enlarged. Is that typically how they look when printed? Thanks.

Generally, no. But, as with all digital photographs, the "grainy-ness" of the print depends on whether the image is cropped, which I try not to do a lot of, and the size of the enlargement. Some of the images on the blog have been cropped more than what I would do for a printed image, leading to some static when they are enlarged on your monitor. And, the monitor on which you are viewing the image could also cause some minor distortion of the image (sharpness and color) due to calibration of the monitor you are using. I have not yet had a client complain about the clairty of a printed image. I hope that I have answered your question, and thanks for your interest in my work. --Heather

I kind of like the "grainy-ness" in some of the pictures. It gives it an "edgy" look without losing the integrity of the picture!

Thank you. I really appreciate your opinion.

The black and whites seem to be your niche. I like your work, but just moved to OK. Maybe when we come home for our next visit we can give you a call!
