Spring Special

Yea! Spring is here! The sun is warm, the grass is green, and the flowers are in bloom---perfect conditions for outdoor photo sessions. In celebration, I am offering 20% off all prints ordered from sessions completed between April 14 and May 31. Because there is only so much sun in a day, sessions are filling up fast. To book your session, please call me at 501.786.0116 or e-mail me at howensphotography@sbcglobal.net. And, remember, I will gladly come to you for your session!! (Note that I do charge a $20.00 travel fee if the round-trip mileage is more than 100 miles.) I hope you'll call me today!!!

Last Building Standing, Pulaski, Iowa

These are images that I took on a recent trip to my mom's hometown in Davis County, Iowa. It's in Amish country, so being there is like stepping back in time . . . eerie, in a way. I remember spending summers here as a kid with my great-grandparents. Unfortunately, very little is left of this tiny farming community.

Spring

Thanks so much to all of you who came out to Wye Mountain on the 16th. I had such a great time seeing all of you and your precious little ones. It was so much fun, and I think we captured some great images, too. These are a few of my favorites. Too bad it wasn't a wee bit warmer!!

Lauren

Meet Lauren. Isn't she precious!?!?! She's three months old and hates to lay on her belly! Thank you so much, Tenille, for letting me photograph your little one. Next time, we'll have to get both girls together.
