New Booking Policies
Beginning March 30, a booking fee will be required in order to book a session. No prices have been changed; however, a $200.00 booking fee will be due at the time you book your portrait session. The booking fee includes the $100.00 session fee and a $100.00 print credit. Additionally, if your session requires a travel fee, it must also be paid at the time of booking. You cannot be placed on the calendar until these fees are paid. Once your booking fee is paid, you will receive a special coupon code to use when ordering to receive your print credit.
(If your session fee is more than $100.00 (i.e., if your session will include more than 4 people), the additional fee must be added to your booking fee.)
To pay your booking fee, click on the "Online Proofing" link on my website. Then, click on the "Products" icon at the top of the page. Select "Fees" and add the "Booking Fee" (and the "Travel Fee," if applicable) to your cart. You must pay the booking fee with a debit or credit card.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Due to high demand and the limited availability of booking dates, cancellations must be made at least 7 days BEFORE your session. If cancellation is necessary, your booking fee may be transferred to a rescheduled session. A refund of the booking fee (and travel fee, if applicable) is available if cancellation notice is received at least 7 days before your session and if rescheduling is not feasible. However, no refund of your session fee is avaiable if cancellation occurs within 7 days of your session.

A Few Thoughts On Sizing
We often think of 8x10s as the standard enlargement size. However, I encourage you to think larger for your personal portrait collection. Print sizes starting at 11x14 are traditional wall portrait sizes, meaning that the portrait is best viewed from a distance of three feet, which is a comfortable distance for a viewer to stand from the wall. Also, think of the impact you want your portrait to have on guests in your home. A 20x24 portrait makes a statement and draws the viewer in from across the room to "take in" the image. An 8x10 portrait on the wall draws the viewer closer simply because they cannot see the image from a distance.
Below is a size reference to show wall portrait sizes set to scale against an 8-foot couch. My Standard Wall Portrait Size (20x24) is highlighted in turquoise.

Desperately Seeking Subjects
Sorry for all of the PSAs lately. I gotta take care of a little business some time, though!!
I found some really cool grafitti downtown, and I want to use it in a photograph. So, I'm looking for someone who's got a tough little man (or lady) who might be up for some edgy grafitti-laden images. If you're game, give me a call. Faux-hawks and fake tatoos preferred! :-)

Watch Me Grow Plan
I am excited to annouce the "Watch Me Grow Plan." The "Watch Me Grow Plan" is for toddlers. Enrollment in the plan is $400.00 and includes 5 portrait sessions: 18 months, 2 years, 3 years, 4 years, and 5 years. After the 4-year session, you will receive a 5x20 collage showcasing your favorite image from each of the first 4 sessions. Additionally, after the 5-year session, you will receive an 11x14 portrait.
Kids change so much during the toddler years, and I believe it is so important to document those changes. The "Watch Me Grow Plan" is designed to do just that. I hope that it is something that you can use and that you will give me a call!!
